Cookies

I love cookies, especially butter cookies. So when my friend gave me 3 boxes of cookies from France, I was so happy. Here's the cookies:

100% originally from France! So far we only tasted one packet, the third one. Very nice. Very tasty, I luv it! For the other 2 boxes, I am thinking to keep it and bring back to Malaysia and share with my family. It's really not that easy to get these kind of cookies in Malaysia. Good food must share with love one, right? :-)

So expensive!

Loong just came back from Amsterdam. He bought me my dinner from a Thai Restaurant, recommended by his Thailand friend. He called me when he was on his way back, telling me that he bought me a very special Thai dish.

This is what he bought for me:

Look special? Noooooo! Taste special? Noooo. What is so special then? The price! This cost me Euro 14! If convert to RM, nearly RM70!!! To me, this is just a normal char-kuey-tiaw!!! This is very special in Thailand meh? Anyone eat this in Thailand???

Ok, I better don't complaint so much! Next time he doesn't want to buy me anything liao!

Loong's lunch box

Loong joint a technical visit to Belgium. It was a one day trip and lunch provided. There were extra lunch box, so he got 2 and bring one box back for me to have a look and have a taste. This is how the lunch box looks like:

The content:

• 2 chees bread
• 1 butter bread
• 1 banana
• 1 bottle of juice
• 1 stick of Mars chocolate bar
• 1 bowl of salad

So much! Now I know why mat-salleh all so tall and big size one!!! Anyway, their lunch box looks very healthy huh~

Billy Beer Restaurant.

We seldom eat outside food. Main reason is, because it is expensive. If I opted to cook our dinner, each meal I think I only need €5.00 for a complete meal which include rice, 1 vege, 1 meat or even 1 soup. Anyway, since it was my birthday that day, I did not want to cook. We went our for our first self-paid western food in Netherlands.





We choose this Billy Beer Restaurant after reading some good review from GoGoDutch.com. Main reason also because this is a children friendly restaurant, as indicated by some of the reviewer.

This restaurant is decorated with a lot of teddy bears, children will love this place.

I ordered Ribeye steak - €16.50, oranged juice - €2.50 and Loong ordered Mixed fish platter, beer - €2.00 - €14.20. Total we spent that night - €35.20.

Our bill came together with there sweets! :-) The food just normal, but Anne enjoyed eating french fried that normally I would not allow her to eat so much!
