Do you like Mathematics? I love Mathematics, same as Loong. I hope that Anne will be like us also. For me, we must let our children to know the fun of doing mathematics. They must get the concept right, not try to memorize the formula but now why and when to use a formula.

Reading is a very good habit that I think most of the parents would like their children to keep this habit. I try to let Anne play with books when she was a young baby. I wish to train her to like book more than other toys. I do not wish that my children do not like reading!
One of my neighbour's children do not like reading at all! The mother told me that her children are having difficulty keeping up with their reading assignments, this can seriously affect they motivation and confidence! I would like to advise the mother to send her children for a Reading Tutors at SCORE! so that the children can pick up the interest of reading as soon as possible.

It's Summer now...
It's summer in Netherlands now. Summer! But I do not feel summer! The weather is so windy most of the time. The sun is bright and hot most of the time, but with the wind blow, I can feel the cold all the time! Sun rise as early as 6:ooam. Sun set as late as 11:oopm! We only have 7 hours of dark time a day! Anyway, I prefer summer than winter. So I must enjoy myself to the fullest before Autumn come! By that time we will have more dark time! Sienzzz...

Formula Milk
It's quite difficult to get formula for children more than 18 months here. Ang-moh prefers to start giving their children fresh milk when their children are 1 year old. Anyway, me as a Malaysian decided to listen to Malaysian pead.'s advise to give Anne formula. Since Anne turned 18 months old, I started to look for a formula which is for children 1 - 3 year old. Yes, only one brand I can get, not other choice.
Anyway, the advertisement is out everywhere but I cannot see any tin in supermarket! Finally we found a tin left in a shop and we fast-fast grab it. Since we know there's another same shop in the next city The Hague, we had purposely took tram to go The Hague and get another 2 tin. We afraid we will have difficulty to get one when the only tin finish. So susah! One tin only 900g and already cost Euro 9.90, so expensive! May be I should consider to let Anne drink fresh milk!

PPP: The Survivor!
Have you ever imagine what will happen to you when you were stranded in an unknown city with no money or resources? How would you eat? Where would you sleep? What about the weather?
I always join my girl to watch her Barney show, so my imagination is as good as Barney the purple dinasor! No money is not a main issue. I believe there are a lot of kind people out there. As long as I am willing to work for them, I am sure the boss will give some food or money as exchange. I can work in a restaurant as waitress or cleaner or any work that I can do. With my hands sure I can work to earn my own money! With the money I earn, I can get any resources I need. I might need a longer time but what to rush for? We must enjoy our life to the fullest even when you are in trouble. God will only put you under a situation where you can handle it! That's why I always believe that I can overcome every problem with the wisdom that God had grant me. What about a place to sleep. Not a problem at all! During spring or summer when the weather is good with sun shinny day, I can sleep with nature. Means, in any garden, under a bridge or in between trees. Not everyone have this kind of opportunity to sleep with nature you know? Autumn and winter will be very challenging to me because I am afraid of cold! Then I should find a more proper place to sleep, eg. in a public toilet? Or I think I will look for a stay in job where the boss will provide me a place to sleep. That's better~

Upset!
We have a lot of chinese here, mostly from China, Taiwan or Hong Kong. But the way they speak Mandarin is different with us, I only can speak Malaysian Mandarin with Loong and Anne.
I was so happy when Loong told me that one of his friend got an offer to study in IHE. At the same time he is given another choice to go Australia. According to their boss, the courses offered by IHE is better than Australia. That's why I am putting high hope that he will choose to come here. At least I can have another friend here because his wife is coming with him. His wife is same age as me, last time when I was preggy with Anne, we went to Cherating together. But today, he emailed Loong telling that he choose Australia. Main reason is, application for Netherlands Visa is very troublesome and costly too. For Master students, IHE only help their students to apply the Visa, not their family (For Ph.D students IHE will apply for the students and family). So, there is possibility that he need to come here first and his wife later. That's why they choose to go Australia together.
Aiyaaaa.... I am so upset now!

PPP: Lucky SEVEN!!!
I read so many bloggers posted about this news pass few day. I was wondering, how come I cannot get any opportunities??!?! I am not aiming for big money, OK? Finally, when I signed-in to PPP today I am so happy to see this opportunity is available for me to take. I can earn 10.77 USD by this post! YES, very easy task!!!!
I bet, this is a greatest news for all bloggers who had signed-up with PPP. PPP raised another $7 million. $7 million!!! What should they do with the $7 million? I think all the staffs in PPP deserve a raise in their pay. They are working hard to help us to earn our money, right? My first 100USD
Yes, I earned my first USD thru PPP. I used 2 months to write 12 paid-post and earn my first 100 USD. For you may be it's so little, but for me, I am happy with this 100 USD... Hehe... I never thought that I still can earn money even tho I am a stay-at-home-mother.

I am tired!
I am feeling tired. I have been taking care of Anne alone most of the time for nearly one month! Loong is so busy that he is always not at home with us. Even when he is at home, he will be sitting in front of the PC either checking and replying email or writing his proposal! I am getting sick of this kind of life!
At first I thought after he presented his proposal on monday (11 June), then he can spent more time at home. But no, he prefers to attend most of the Ph.D seminar organised by IHE every day among this week. Then, he joined and plan to join some other technical visits with IEM delegates from Malaysia (currently in Netherland for 1 week). He said, those visits very good woh!
Yesterday night came home nearly 2am, went out "drinking" with his friends lah! Not always got friends coming from Malaysia, right? OK-lor. Then, tonight he is at Amsterdam with his friends again, they have a full day program at Amsterdam tomorrow. He said better go over tonight to stay with them so that tomorrow he no need to wake up so early to take the train to Amsterdam! Apa saja lah!! Go lah!! Yes, I am a little bit "beh song"!! Day time already always not at home, now enven night time also not at home! Sienzzz!
I think he is thinking to join the dinner host by one of our Minister from Malaysia who happen to attend a meeting in Netherlands this week. Why so many program happen this week one!!!??!?!?! I NEED A BREAK NOW!!!! NOW!!!!

PPP: I joined PayPerPost

After seeing many blogger earning money easily by writing paid-post, finally I signed up for PPP and start advertise on blogs. I cannnot remember the actual date I joined PPP, but I remember that my blog was approved by PPP on 17 April 2007.

Although my blog do not have a good PR, but still I have some oppurtunities to write. I had wrote 10 paid-post in a month, and guess what? My earning is reaching USD 100 now! I believe I can earn my first USD 100 soon!

Time to go home!
Finally we had set the date for us to go back to Malaysia end of this year. I want to escape from the winter! Hehee.... Cannot stand the cold weather lah! But I think I still have to go through 2009's winter...
Loong had bought tickets for Anne and I. Why his ticket no need to buy? Because his ticket is sponsored by his scholarship sponsor. He need to go back for data collection for approximately 3 months. His supervisor and promoter will visit Malaysia early next year as well, to see the condition in Malaysia. Since Loong is going back, of course I want to follow also lah! What am I going to do here if I stay back at Netherlands alone with Anne, right? 3 months!!! I don't want!
Anyway, we spent Euro1550+ for tickets for 2 of us! Aiyaaaa... Need to ikat perut for the rest of the months liaooooo... Anne's ticket already cost us Euro 688+. We should go back before Anne turns 2 hor, save a lot! But cannot lah, Loong have to do something here also...

Thunder storm...
First time in Netherlands we have thunder storm... Anne is sleeping now, I hope the loud "bang" would not wake her up! The temperature drop back to 15+'C again... Girl is still a girl!
Well, many people who see Anne for the first time will think that she is a BOY, because of her almost "botak" head lah! (By the way, any one has good tips on what do eat during pregnancy so that the baby will grow more hair??)
I like to let her wear skirt, but the weather here just not allow me to do so. You see, will you let your girl wear skirt when the temperature is always below 15'C? I prefer to let her wear jeans! Today, when she was watching 四千金's MTV, she saw them wear skirt. Then she said:"Skirt, 美美". Hahaha... After bath, I decided to let her wear her skirt, in the house (today is a rainy day, cannot go out with skirt lah!). She is very happy now, always say:"美美"! Girl is still a girl, right?

Yeah~~~
I am happy. Loong will be back soon (tomorrow afternoon lor)! At first I thought this week would be a very very long and tough week for me, but seems like it's OKAY to take care of Anne alone! In short, Anne is a good girl. Besides always want me to be with her and always want me to carry her to take the things that she wants which she cannot reach (normally is things that I will not allow her to touch), she still can consider is a good girl. Sleeps well, eat well!But I must admit that I let her watch too much of TV until now she always request to watch either ‘戏’for Barney/Teletubbies/Baby Einstein and ‘歌’ for 四千金's MTV. I have to let her watch TV so that she wouldnt kacau me at kitchen or toilet maaa...
Anyway I am glad that it's going to over sooooooon. Next, I want to reduce her time of watching TV, hope that she is not that addicted to TV yet!

Do you own a credit card? I believe most of us do. The use of credit card make our life easier. We don't have to bring a lot of cash with us, some of the Credit Cards company even allow 0% installment on certain item that we bought and lots more other benefits. But, I must say that one should always knows the limit that he/she can afford before he/she use a credit card, or else he/she will be in deep debt!
I do have a credit card and I seldom use it. I prefer to use my husband's card so that we can focus our poits collection and can get our rebate gift faster. After I read this article: Do you have a credit card you don't use?, I feel that the writer is like talking to me. He got the point! Now, I have to think whether I should keep my card or not!

- He likes to do things in a "super fast" mode. Every task he prefer to finish it before the dead-line. The earlier, the better. That's why he has high-blood-pressure at such a young age.
- He always wanted me to do something according to his way of doing thing. For example, work as fast as he did. Weay... I prefer to do it slowly, but for sure I am confident that I can finish it before the dead-line!
- He is more hygenic than me. He cannot stand dirt. After I cooked, must mod the floor. But if I do not want to mod the floor, he will do it. :-P He is too hygenic until he always prohibited Anne to play 'wildly' at church or when we were outside. I would let Anne crawl and roll and touch anything that I consider OK (to him most of it is not OK).
- He will keep quiet when I am complaining abiut him. Hey, give some response lah!!! I am like talking to air you know?
- He likes to talk to me when I am in the kitchen (either cooking or washing dishes), and expected that I can listen to him clearly. After that he will complain that I am not listening to him, or my ears not function well.
- Everyday must read newspaper. Reading newspaper is more important than playing with Anne! Only will stop when I asked him to STOP!
- Too concentrate when doing his work. Everything happen beside him, he cannot see or hear oneeee...
- Force me to eat orange. I don't like orange!
- Expected me to have a super-good-memory like a computer which can remember where we keep every object that he is looking for. Anything went missing, is my fault! Duh~~
- This is the recent dislike: Always want me to cook supper for him! Supper NOT good! (*and I am lazy to cook for him ler!*)

我女儿与Irene的静静一样是鸡年生的，名字也有个“静”字。我不是因为Irene想的那样“因为鸡年出生的小孩，通常会比较叽喳也比较顽皮”而取了一个“静”字。纯粹因为我喜欢“静”这个字。唉，我想有‘静’这个字的孩子都不静吧！静恩也不是一位安静的女孩，声量还超大声的叻！
可能很多人还不知道我女儿的中文名是：静恩。我们是基督徒，取名没算生辰八字。公家也没有什么特别要求，一切由我俩决定。‘静’和‘恩’是两个很普通的字，多数的人都会念。我不想取个很多人都不会念的字，就像我的名字酱，很难记。但这两个字也是很有意思的两个字。好了，为什么叫静恩？静是安静的意思。恩是恩典的意思。我们希望我们的女儿会时时刻刻‘静静’细数，领受及等候主的‘恩典’。就这样简单！

Loong will be away for his field work starting this Friday until next Friday. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. It's 7 days! The field work is actually for Master students. But due to Loong didn't do his Master here, his BOSS (actually is supervisor) requested him to join as well.
I hate it when he told me that he cannot avoid to go. Weay... One week leh! 7 days! How am I going to handle one running + naughty + high demand toddler alone for one week? 7*24 hours!!! Ahhh... I started to imagine what will happen now. If we are in Malaysia, I think it's shouldn't be a problem for me... But... Here, alone? I cannot trust myself lah! Loong keep on reminding me to keep the keys properly la and do not forget to bring the keys out!! He even want to train me to eat faster! Duh!!

炒芹菜
老公只有31岁就有高血压，听人说芹菜有帮助降血压的功效就煮了这一道菜。想煮苦瓜，但买不到苦瓜，再加上老公是一位吃不了“苦”的人，这计划暂时作罢！
材料：
- 芹菜一颗
- 鸡腿肉切块
- 冬菇浸软切片
- 蒜米少许
鸡腿肉腌料：
- 少许酱青
- 少许盐
- 少许绍兴酒
步骤：
- 热锅，加少许橄榔油。
- 爆香蒜米，加入腌好的鸡腿肉翻炒。
- 等鸡腿肉5分熟时加入冬菇继续翻炒。
- 最后加入主角芹菜继续翻炒直所有材料熟透。
- 盛谍，准备享用。

Marmite Chicken.
I love marmite. When I have to cook for myself and I am lazy to cook a proper meal, just give me a bottle of Marmite. I can eat Marmite with noodles, rice and everything! When I first saw this recipe in MMB, I know I am going to fall in love with this dish! Here's the steps:
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings
- 2 pips garlic, chopped
- Egg (beated)
- white pepper
Marmite Sauce:
- 2 tblsps Marmite
- 4 tblsps hot water
- 1 tblps sugar
- Black pepper
Steps:
- Coat chicken wings with some white pepper and egg. Deep fry, take and out.
- Dissolve marmite and sugar in hot water.
- Heat oil in small pan, saute garlic, add black pepper, pour in the Marmite mixture.
- Once the sauce started to boil, add in the chicken wings.
- Stir...
- Take out and ready to serve

Why we avoid to buy a BIG TV is because we are not sattling down yet. It will be very troublesome to move a BIG TV when we need to move to a new house. I wish I can win this set of home theather system so that I can enjoy the luxury of watching movies at home but with BIG screen (no more 14"), good sound effect, just like watching a movie in a cinema. How nice!

This is my 2nd Mother's Day. Nothing so special about this day!
I received one carnation today. Not from my girl's Daddy, OK? It's from our church's Sunday School students. Nice or not?

When we came back from Church, it was almost 1p.m. I had to rush to fed Anne her lunch, bath her and put her to sleep. So, Loong cooked lunch for me. Hehehe.... He cooked curry mee... I must say it was yummy, OK? Else he would refused to cook again next time!
This is what I cooked for dinner. Just a simple meal. Loong doesn't like western food and we prefer to eat at home! It will be a nightmare to bring Anne out for dinner. OK, I admit also: we are poor family survive on scholarship, cannot afford outside food lah!!! :-P After dinner, Loong washed all the dishes while I played with Anne....

今天看了一集的<淘气过生活>，谈的主题是在家教育。其中3位嘉宾都是提倡并正在实施在家教育。我赞成在家教育的，但要实行就对自己没信心。无论如何，嘉宾们介绍了这个网站：中華基督教慕真在家教育協會。有空的话上去看看。在那发现了这篇很好的文章：12 招教養出快樂小孩。(注：取之中華基督教慕真在家教育協會)
研究發現，快樂的孩子擁有一些共同的特質，包括：較有自信、樂觀、有自制力。我們整合專家意見，提供12個訣竅，讓你養育出一個快樂的孩子。
1. 給孩子隨性玩耍的時間，不要把生活安排得太有規則
美國兒童教育學者湯姆斯．阿姆斯壯指出，自由玩耍比有計劃性的活動，對學齡前的孩子來說更為健康有益。父母要避免將孩子的時間塞滿各種活動、課程。所有的孩子都需要有一些無所事事，隨性玩耍的時間。唯有這樣才能讓他們的想像力無拘無束的發揮，讓他們可以悠閒的看蜘蛛織網、研究螢火蟲如何發光；以他們自然的速度去探索他們所好奇的世界。也許，有時你也該放慢你的腳步，拋開你的行程表，跟著孩子的節奏享受生活。

Strange weather.
Last weekend, we had hot sun-shiny day. The highest temperature hit up to 27'C. Can you imagine that, 27'C during Spring! According to local people, this is the hottest April they had ever experience! It's like summer but actually it's only early spring.
Today, the temperature drop to 14-15'C during day time and 5'C at night. Temperature expected to drop to 8'C during day time on Friday!! 8'C again??!??!? Arrgghhhh.... suddently so hot, suddently so cold!!!!!! What happen to our earth!!!!!
We will visit Keukenhof on 21st April (Saturday), I just hope that we will have a warmer weather. But, people said it will be a cold day as well! Sianzzzz...

Anyway Celine Dion is one of my favourite singer. Her voice is special and loud! And I salute her efford to get pregnant for her ill husband. Nothing much to say... :-P Not sweet also.

April~~ Spring~~
Finally it's spring now! The weather is getting warmer and better now and we have sun-shine almost everyday!! :-D Flowers in our hostel's open garden.
April is a month of flowers in Holland. We celebrate the end of winter - goodbye to the short days and long nights, and welcome to Spring with its promise of sunshine and showers. Now we are expected to see flowers everywhere in Delft - parks, gardens, and even between the tramlines! No wonder Holland is famous for it’s flowers.
I love spring!!! I love flowersssss...

Maternity Leaves..
After you read this and this, what you think? I hope our government will approve 90 days not 84 days. To me, 90 days are still not enough. From the listing, you can see that Malaysia falls under one of the country that gives the fewest days of maternity leaves.
In Netherlands, mothers are qualified for 4 months of maternity leaves (full pay!). Plus, you are allowed to apply for another 12 weeks of unpaid leaves. In China, mothers are given 6 months of maternity leaves (ehh.. but they only allow one birth only lah!). I even heard that Germany just reviewed their maternity leave policy this year, guess how long they give? I tell you, you wouldn't believe me! ONE YEAR! SATU TAHUN!!!! Soooooooo GOOOD~~~ I want to go Germany and find a job there and get pregnant and give birth and enjoy my 1 year maternity leavessssss with full pay!!!!!! ~~Joking only lah...
"一些國家的僱主甚至給喂孩子母乳的產婦另外的有薪假期." --> I hope our government will implement this also... Longer maternity leaves for breastfeeding mother!

What’s in my bag?
I was tagged by my new blogger friend - wchpeng. She wants to know what's in my bag. Eiksss... Actually, I don't use a hand-bag since I came to Netherlands. Or any bag also can? I do have a sling-bag which I will use it when I go out for a walk with Anne (now a days also seldom use liaooo...).

Freaking Weather!
As we thought that winter is over, who knows it snowed again!!! I do like snow, but I prefer sun-shine more!!!!
The snow turned into rain once it touched the floor (so no snow to play with), it caused the weather became so cold! Cannot go gai-gai... Then, we had ice pellets in the evening!!! BIG one! Sure hurt if hit on you.

The snow turned into rain once it touched the floor (so no snow to play with), it caused the weather became so cold! Cannot go gai-gai... Then, we had ice pellets in the evening!!! BIG one! Sure hurt if hit on you.

Feeling good.
Time flies, we had been staying in Netherlands for 6 months. We came during autumn, and now it's end of winter already! 6 months, not a short period I think. We survived pretty well!

- To buy Anne's toys and books online.

- To update blog (also me only)
Not to mention Loong need it for his Ph.D research purpose. See, if no internet in our hostel we were like dunno-what-to-do-at-home! :-D I mean when Anne is sleeping, OK? When she is awake how can I online, it's A-Mission-Impossible!!!
I am feeling GOOD now. Anne is sleeping, I am listening to Ai-FM, writing this post and at the same time reading Feminine (风采) February issue... Life is so GOOD, thank GOD!

麦片虾
材料：
- 虾(懒惰在吃的时候还要去壳，所以已去虾壳)
- 酱青少许
- 粟粉少许
- NESTUM麦片半杯
- 咖哩叶4-5片
- 小辣椒两条
- 黄/白糖2-3汤匙
- 少许蒜茸
步骤：
- 虾加入酱青以及粟粉腌半小时。
- 热油，将腌好的虾炸至金黄，拿起待用。
- 用少许油爆香蒜茸，小辣椒及咖哩叶。
- 加入糖翻炒直糖溶化。
- 加入麦片翻炒直出香味。
- 最后加入虾翻炒几下，即大功告成。
如果不要吃虾，也可用鸡！
MMB’s 2007 Mother’s Day Plan.
To make sure no one will miss this post, I decided to duplicate the post here! This post is taken from my other blog.
I think most us knows MMB. If you are parents (specially the mother) and this is the first time you see MMB, nevermind, it’s not too late yet!
This year, rosfmuhammad from MMB proposed to have another round of presents giving during Mother’s Day to mother who are taking care of their sick children in hospital. Like what they did in year 2005 and 2004.
Year 2004, I didn’t know MMB yet. Year 2005, I think I learn about MMB from a local magazine but not a frequest visitor yet. I missed these 2 years’ Mother’s Day project. This year I am going to miss it again because I am not in Malaysia. DUH~Anyway, I still hope that I can help a bit by promote this wonderful plan to all of you. Please read the detail and progress here.

Montessori Online Course
The course started on 1st March. Till today, I only managed to finish Practical Life Part 1. How come my production so low already? I think the main reason is because I don't like to read "online book" and I do not have a printer to print out the material given! Duh~~ I feel bad! I am wasting my money (althought not much!)! I did think of to ask Loong to use his office's printer to print out for me... But, he is already so busy and tension with his study and proposal... See how la...
Anyway, I hope I can decipline myself to read the material according to the timeline from today onward!! If not, how am I going to get back to my work place after 2.5 years? Lazy edi!!! Yes, so fast I already spent 1/6 of my 3 years unpaid-leaves. Decipline!! Decipline!!!! Let my brain work more!!! I must make myself think more, read more and work more (besides taking care of Anne). Ahhh...

酒香鸡
材料：- 鸡翅膀
- 小葱头两粒-切碎
- 小块姜-切碎
- 白酒和绍兴酒少许
- 耗油少许
- 黑酱油少许
步骤：
- 将所有材料加在一起腌几个小时。
- 烧热锅，爆香蒜茸。
- 加入鸡翅翻炒-鸡翅而已，别加腌料。
- 加腌料及少许水用慢火慢慢的焖煮至鸡翅熟为止。
非常简单的一道菜！试试吧！

Winter is ending!!!!
Today we have sun-shiny day! The temperature as recorded was up to 16'C during day time and 3'C at night. I don't mind that night time only 3'C because I will be staying in my warm house for the whole night. But I am so happy to see bright sun-shine after 3 months of most-of-the-time-dark-and-cloudy-day. I think the winter will be over soon and SPRING is coming!! Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally it's almost spring now! I want to go gai-gai with my girl without wrapping ourselves like a ball. I want to see all trees with green leafs. I want to see flowers specially TULIP!!! AAAAHHHHHhh... So good to see sun-shine! Yipeeeee...

星期六那天，天气很好，阳光普照，难的好天气。所以我们决定骑脚车上东方行一趟。我的新脚车买了也有两星期了，正好可以让我骑一骑。
我已经好长日子没运动更甭说骑脚车，当然骑的慢一些。没气啦！新脚车又第一次骑，想怎样？别要求高高。
你知道我老公怎样对我吗？他载恩恩骑的飞快，不但不等我，还一直招手要我快一些。要命！我已经尽量了！更气的是，等他停在一旁还以为他良心发现在等我，那里知道等我好不容易骑到了他竟然骂我干嘛骑那么慢？当时好想骂他粗口！

Have you watch this DVD before? I just got my copy. Gave by my China friend. She downloaded from a site (7.57G also can download, geng eh!). It's a very nice and good for children also. I think adult (me included) will love it too. Some introduction about this DVD:

- I am allergy to alcohol. My whole body itchy due to the "wine chicken" I ate during confinement! All my confinement food that consist alcohol needed to cook for a long time to boil-out the alcohol! Cannot drink beer also! :-)
- I am under weight! I am 168cm height with 43kgs only. A skinny person.
- I gained 20kgs during my preggie with Anne. Horrible hor... I thought I can maintain some fat after pregnancy, but NO! I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight now.
- I eat a lot and poo a lot too. Hahaha... That's why I cannot gain weight one! Super active digestion system.

咕噜肉
材料:
- 猪肉；我用三层肉
- 蒜头茸1汤匙
- 黄瓜
- 灯笼椒(什么颜色都可以)
- 番茄
- 大葱
三层肉切块加入以下材料腌一阵(1小时)：
- 面粉1汤匙
- 蛋一粒
- 生抽（酱青）1/2汤匙
- 白糖1/2茶匙
- 盐1/4 茶匙
- 胡椒粉
咕噜肉汁的调味：
- 番茄酱2汤匙
- 糖1汤匙
- 生抽1汤匙
- 盐1/4茶匙
- 粟粉1茶匙
- 水100ml
- 醋1汤匙(老公不喜欢，所以我没放)
- 辣椒酱1汤匙(不想吃辣的咕噜肉，也没放)
步骤：
- 将腌好的肉沾上粟粉炸至金黄，拿起待用。- 我懒，没沾粟粉，直接炸！
- 爆香蒜茸与洋葱，加入番茄，黄瓜，以及灯笼椒；翻炒；
- 再加入咕噜肉汁的调味料煮滚。
- 加入肉翻炒几下，即大功告成。

Grrrrrr...
You know what? I found a place to download 36+8 Barney VCDs!!! Can you believe this? And it's FREEEEEE!!! Last year, I spent GBP29.90 to buy 12 Barney VCDs from Ebay... If I know this website earlier, I can save a lot of money liao.......... Duh~~
Plan to go to zoo this morning, but it started to rain early in the morning until the time we suppose to leave the house. So, trip was cancelled! We went shopping to buy my facial cream and a birthday present for Salbiah's birthday party later in the afternoon. I just cannot understand one thing! US - Netherlands and Malaysia - Netherlands, which is nearer? Definately the first one right? Then why Dermalogical (US product) is much more expensive here? It cost me Euro 138 for 3 things which in Malaysia I can get it at RM400 nia...

Long life noodle
On the first day of Chinese New Year, we - Hing Ann will eat this "Long Life Noodle" (长寿面) with chicken soup and one egg (we call it太平蛋). Every year, my mother will cook for us. But since this year I am not at home, I decided to cook this on the first day of CNY also. Very easy! 
Ingredient:
- 2 drumsticks
- 5 dried mushroom, soak in water and cut into pieces
- Ginger
- salt
- Long life noodle
To cook the chicken soup, put ingredients 1 - 4 into a pot filled with hot boiling water. Let it boil for 1 or 2 hour. Boil another pot of water to cook the noodle for 5 minutes, take it out and put in a bowl. Pour the chicken soup into the bowl when you are ready to eat! One bowl for Loong and one for myself!

Becareful when your house have a toddler!
This morning when hubby called MIL, MIL told him that his nephew (3rd sister's eldest son) was admitted to hospital due to food poisoning. What happen?
SIL#3 left his son to her FIL, this FIL was handling some poison (to kill mouse). The phone rang, and guess what? He left the toddler with the poison!!!! You can guess what happen next, right? Yes, the boy took the poison and eat!!!
Luckily the found out that he is chewing those poison and rush him to hospital to "wash" his stomach! So pity, has to go through all the painful procedure to clean his stomach. Till now, he is still not allowed to eat and drink. Not sure they manage to go back to Bentong tomorrow or not.
Lesson of the day: Never ever left your kids to someone who you think they are not alert enough to take care of kids. Someone can just be to careless. I hope I can remember this inciddent and be more careful when taking care of Anne! I really felt sorry and pity for that little boy!

Fried meat ball (炸肉丸)
Ingredients:- 50% pork + 50%beef (minced and mixed 和在一起剁碎),
- 1/2 pc tau fu (水豆腐),
- 1 egg, flour (一点面粉),
- corn flour (一点薯粉),
- 2 pcs red onion (chopped红葱头切成碎),
- 2 pcs garlics (chopped蒜米切成碎),
- salt (盐).
Steps:
- Mix all ingredients in a big bowl. If the mixture is too soft, add more flour. Use a spoon to scop and put in hot oil for deep fried.
- That’s it, easy to prepare~ Eat with sweet chili sauce, it’s yummy!!

Braised Chicken Wings and Eggs
First, I would like to share my cooking of braised chicken wings and eggs (卤鸡翅膀与鸡蛋).Ingredients:
- Chicken wings and water-boil-eggs.
Sauce:
- 500ml water,
- 3 tbsp of soy-sauce (生抽/酱青),
- 3 tbsp of dark-soy-sauce (老抽/黑酱油),
- 4-5 pcs of cane sugar (冰糖),
- 4-5 pcs of garlic (蒜头, 拍扁),
- 1 pcs of bat-kok (八角).
My review: a little bit too salty, next time I will reduce the amount of soy sauce and dark-soy-sauce.

I am back...
Last week was on leave for one whole week. Went back to my home town to attend my sister's wedding. Now, i am so tired and lazy to do everything... But, must force myself to put full concentration on my work... Had been away for one week, so many program and testing waiting for me to settle in a week time (because we will start our trial run end of this week). Luckily still manage to finish it!!! Well done to myself!!! hahaha....
After spending one week of sweet time with daddy and mummy, Anne is so "glue" to me now. Every morning, once i pass her to my babysitter, she will start crying pityfully... her face looks so pity and her tears come out so fast... make my "heart broken" to leave her in this situation.. Aiii, what to do? Mummy have to work ma... Sorry Anne...
Mummy miss you so muchhhhyyyy la......
p/s: will blog about our life in Miri in my next post... chiao first!!

I really don't understand why some people can be so lazy to WALK! Yes, WALK! Even one floor, or i should say half a floor they also want to use lift. Some more we have escalator for them to go to floor 1A (this i consider half floor) and floor 1. But they just like to queue and wait so long in front of the lift, cramp with all people who go upper level. Time they used to wait is much more longer than the time the spend inside the lift. Well i just cannot understand!!!!
OK, may be today i am not in good mood... Didn't get enuff sleep, i think. Anne wake up at 4:00am and don't want to sleep after i breastfed her. Normally she will doze off after around 30 mins i breastfed her, but not today.... so, my "condition" NOT good now... i am like a zombie now!!! Errrkkk....
OK, may be today i am not in good mood... Didn't get enuff sleep, i think. Anne wake up at 4:00am and don't want to sleep after i breastfed her. Normally she will doze off after around 30 mins i breastfed her, but not today.... so, my "condition" NOT good now... i am like a zombie now!!! Errrkkk....

妹妹e-mail了以下的一篇文章给我。在这双亲节的季节看这样的文章感触很深，特别在身为人母后才深深体会为人父母的“不简单”。珍惜，要珍惜。。。

媳妇说："煮淡一点你就嫌没有味道，现在煮咸一点你却说咽不下。你究竟怎想怎么样？"
母亲一见儿子回来，二话不说便把饭菜往嘴里送。 她怒瞪他一眼。
他试了一口，马上吐出来， 儿子说："我不是说过了吗，妈有病不能吃太咸！"
"那好！妈是你的，以后由你来煮！"媳妇怒气冲冲地回房。
儿子无奈地轻叹一声，然后对母亲说："妈，别吃了，我去煮个面给您？"
"仔，你是不是有话想跟妈说，是就说好了，别憋在心里！"
"妈，公司下个月升我职，我会很忙，至于老婆，她说很想出来工作，所以......"
母亲马上意识到儿子的意思："仔，不要送妈去老人院。"声音似乎在哀求。
儿子沉默片刻，他是在寻找更好的理由。 "妈，其实老人院并没有甚么不好？知道老婆一但工作，一定没有时间好好服侍。老人院有吃有住有人服侍照顾， 不是比在家里好得多吗？"
"可是，阿财叔他......"
洗了澡，草草吃了一碗方便面，儿子便到书房去。他茫然地伫立于窗前，有些犹豫不决。母亲年轻便守寡，含辛茹苦将他抚养成人，供他出国读书。但她从不用年轻时的牺牲当作要胁他孝顺的筹码，反而是妻子以婚姻要胁他！真的要让母亲住老人院吗？他问自己，他有些不忍。
"可以陪你下半世的人是你老婆，难道是你妈吗？"阿财叔的儿子总是这样提醒他。
"你妈都这么老了，好命的话可以活多几年，为何不趁这几年好好孝顺她呢？树欲静而风不息， 子欲养而亲不在啊！"亲戚总是这样劝他。
儿子不敢再想下去，深怕自己真的会改变初衷。
晚，太阳收敛起灼热的金光，躲在山后憩息。一间建在郊外山岗的一座贵族老人院。 是的，钱用得越多，儿子才心安理得。当儿子领着母亲步入大厅时，崭新的电视机，42英寸的荧幕正播放着一部喜剧，但观众一点笑声也没有。
几个衣着一样，发型一样的老妪歪歪斜斜地坐在发沙上，神情呆滞而落寞。有个老人在自言自语，有个正缓缓弯下腰，想去捡掉在地上的一块饼干吃。 儿子知道母亲喜欢光亮，所以为她选了一间阳光充足的房间。从窗口望出去，树荫下，一片芳草如茵。几名护士推着坐在轮椅的老者在夕阳下散步，四周悄然寂静得令人心酸。纵是夕阳无限好，毕竟已到了黄昏，他心中低低叹息。
"妈，我......我要走了！"母亲只能点头。他走时，母亲频频挥手，她张着没有牙的嘴，苍白干燥的咀唇在嗫嚅着，一副欲语还休的样子。儿子这才注意到母亲银灰色的头发，深陷的眼窝以及打着细褶的皱脸。母亲，真的老了！
他霍然记起一则儿时旧事。那年他才6岁，母亲有事回乡，不便携他同行，于是把他寄住在阿财叔家几天。母亲临走时，他惊恐地抱着母亲的腿不肯放，伤心大声号哭道："妈妈不要丢下我！妈妈不要走！" 最后母亲没有丢下他。他连忙离开房间，顺手把门关上，不敢回头，深恐那记忆像鬼魅似地追缠而来。
他回到家，妻子与岳母正疯狂的把母亲房里的一切扔个不亦乐乎。身高3英寸的奖杯──那是他小学作文比赛《我的母亲》第1名的胜利品！华英字典──那是母亲整个月省吃省用所买给他的第1份生日礼物！还有母亲临睡前要擦的风湿油，没有他为她擦，带去老人院又有甚么意义呢？
"够了，别再扔了！"儿子怒吼道。
"这么多垃圾，不把它扔掉，怎么放得下我的东西。" 岳母没好气地说。
"就是嘛！你赶快把你妈那张烂床给抬出去，我明天要为我妈添张新的！"
一堆童年的照片展现在儿子眼前，那是母亲带他到动物园和游乐园拍的照片。
"它们是我妈的财产，一样也不能丢！"
"你这算甚态度？对我妈这么大声，我要你向我妈道歉！" (楼主注：这算什么儿子，把自己的母亲送到养老院，然后把岳母接来住，要就一起去送，要就留自己的母亲）
"我娶你就要爱你的母亲，为甚么？嫁给我就不能爱我的母亲？"
雨后的黑夜分外冷寂，街道萧瑟，行人车辆格外稀少。一辆宝马在路上飞驰，频频闯红灯，陷黄格，呼一声又飞驰而过。那辆轿车一路奔往山岗上的那间老人院，停车直奔上楼，推开母亲卧房的门。他幽灵似地站着，母亲正抚摸着风湿痛的双腿低泣。 她见到儿子手中正拿着那瓶风湿油，显然感到安慰的说："妈忘了带，幸好你拿来！"他走到母亲身边，跪了下来。
"很晚了，妈自己擦可以了，你明天还要上班，回去吧！"
他嗫嚅片刻，终于忍不住啜泣道："妈，对不起，请原谅我！我们回家去吧！"

随着自己愈长大，看着父母亲脸庞从年轻变憔悴，头发从乌丝变白发,动作从迅捷变缓慢，多心疼！父母亲总是将最好、最宝贵的留给我们，像蜡烛不停的燃烧自己，照亮孩子！而我呢？有没有腾出一个空间给我的父母，或者只是在当我需要停泊岸时，才会想起他们......
其实父母亲要的真的不多，只是一句随意的问候「爸、妈，你们今天好吗？」随意买的宵夜，煮一顿再普通不过的晚餐，睡前帮他们盖盖被子，天冷帮他们添衣服、戴手套....都能让他们高兴温馨很久。有时，我常在想：我希望我的子女以后如何对我。那现在，我有没有如此对待我的父母？我相信，人是环环相扣的；现在，你如何对待你的父母；以后，你的子女就如何待你。
朋友，人世间最难报的就是父母恩，愿我们都能：以反哺之心奉敬父母，以感恩之心孝顺父母！

孩子！当你还很小的时候，我花了很多时间，教你慢慢用汤匙、用筷子吃东西。教你系鞋带、扣扣子、溜滑梯、教你穿衣服、梳头发、拧鼻涕。这些和你在一起的点点滴滴，是多么的令我怀念不已。所以，当我想不起来，接不上话时，请给我一点时间，等我一下，让我再想一想 ......极可能最后连要说什么，我也一并忘记。孩子！你忘记我们练习了好几百回，才学会的第一首娃娃歌吗？是否还记得每天总要我绞尽脑汁，去回答不知道你从哪里冒出 来的吗？所以，当我重复又重复说着老掉牙的故事，哼着我孩提时代的儿歌时，体谅我。让我继续沉醉在这些回忆中吧！切望你，也能陪着我闲话家常吧！孩子，现在我常忘了扣扣子、系鞋带。吃饭时，会弄脏衣服，梳头发时手还会不停的抖，不要催促我，要对我多一点耐心和温柔，只要有你在一起，就会有很多的温暖涌上心 头。
孩子！如今，我的脚站也站不稳，走也走不动。所以，请你紧紧的握着我的手，陪着我，慢慢的。就像当年一样，我带着你一步一步地走。
若为人子女也不懂得如何体谅他们，那他们便只能于痛苦中渡过余生，黑暗中逝去......

Will be 9 months old soooooon...
Anne will be exactly 9 months old tomorrow at 12:21pm. Time flies...
This morning she surprised us by waving her hand when hubby said good bye to her... What a joyful moment to us because before this we only got to know what she newly learned from our babysitter and this time, it's our turn to tell babysitter that she knows how to raise her hand when we say 'good bye'!! Haha...
I dunno how's ur baby, but Anne seems like not interested to most of the toy we bought. What she like most is "any piece of small paper". Why ar? Paper really that nice ka??? Emm... should i feel happy because i can save a lot of money?? Paper very cheap de ne...
So far, she understand/can:
- clap hands
- bye bye by raise her hand
- sit up without our help
- crawl and crawl and crawl and crawl...
- stand up if have someting to hold and support her like the pic below!!!!

No mood to work...
Today, i have no mood to work.. why?? When you know that all your family members and friends are not going to work today, will you still work hard like normal day??? No, i am very much influenced by them... Holiday mood la....
1st and 2nd June are Sarawak's Gawai Festival, which is public holiday for the state. Emm... i think my family member sure very busy now.. Because today is my 2nd sister's 过大礼的日子. Quite disappoited that i cannot be there!!! Then tomorrow all of them will be heading to Sibu for bride side's reception (fyi, we stay in Miri, but all our relatives are in Sibu. My parents moved to Miri once they married). 6th June will be ROM day, then 14th June will be the actual wedding day. I will be going back to Miri together with Hubby and Anne on 11th June, 10 more days to go. What should i wear on the big day le??? What should Anne wear le???? Haiya....
Now a days, Anne like to bite my shoulder when i carry her... Is this because her gum very very itchi?? But she won't bite my babysitter... Bully mummy only... She has 6 teeth now, 2 at the lower gum and 4 at the upper gum... many people said she start teething very fast... what you think? 9 months with 6 teeth, a lot ka??
See my naughty girl's very naughty face!!! Hahaha....

See what i did...
Last week, hubby was away for one whole week due to work assignment and training... So everyday after work, i have to rush home first, cook rice or get the rice i cook the day before from frige to get ready for heating later (yes, cook rice only because i order catering food), clean the floor (because Anne loves to kisssss the floor), fold clothes that i wash the night before, wash my breast pump and bottle and take bath.. After i settled everything, then only i will go to my babysitter's place to fetch Anne.
After fetch Anne, I must reach home before 6:30pm because the caterer normally will send the food around 6:35pm - 6:45pm (That's why i rush like a crazy women!!). That day (forgot which day already), i was so tired and plan to change Anne's diaper to get her ready to sleep-mode... before i start changing her diaper, i intend to heat the rice in microwave. So, i quickly place the bowl covered with the cover which i think with rice inside into the microwave and start heating the "rice" inside... then i happily change Anne and play with her... after the caterer send the food, i tot i can happily enjoy my dinner before my little Anne starts making noise and wanna sleep... when i open the cover of the bowl i placed inside the microwave, to my surprise... OMG... i put in the wrong bowl!! So, Anne's toy became like this:
Sorry Anne, if your gum itchy, bite mummy... ok???
p/s: Lesson of the day - Never put toy inside a microwave-able bowl!!!!

20 days to go....
20 more days to go to my 2nd wedding anniversary... This time is a bit different, because we have extra one more person to join in, that is my little Ern Ern.... Hubby starts asking where i want to celebrate it (meaning, where to have a special lunch! All he can think of is about eating!!) Why lunch and not dinner?? Because my little princess will go to bed before 8 pm!!! YES, BEFORE EIGHT!! So, for the time been, we will never can enjoy our dinner slowly.. unless we start eating 5pm lah..... possible ka???
Just got message from my hubby. He will be outstation on our anniversary day... chia lak la.... He now start asking where to go for my first Mother's day lunch pulak!!! Must eat sepuas-puasnya, right??!!?!?!

我的恩恩开始懂事了。。。
时间过的真快，恩恩已经快八个月大了。。。不知不觉我也做了八个月的母牛，哈哈！
昨天我煮了ABC汤给她配米糊吃。那知她竟然不要吃，老公骂她后她竟然不睬她爸爸。老公尝试逗她玩，她也不望他。。。可怜的老公还拼命的要惹她笑。。。我在一旁吃吃笑。。。笑他俩的互动。。。笑她的可爱，笑他的无趣。。。
