Some times, we just do not know which cartridge is best for our printer, copier, or fax machine. Last time when I have a printer, I will just buy a cartridge that is recommended by the seller. If I know this

Today, Loong is at Amsterdam to attend a seminar. He went out very early in the morning and only will be back at night. Most probably after Anne goes to bed. So, get something for her to do, I brought her out to an open space to chase pegeons. Then we went to a shop to buy toy for her. You know what she choose? A CAR! Yeap, a car. Just like a boy. She is playing with the car now... so happy, keep on saying wanna show daddy her new car. Boy oh boy!
When I was young, my father worked as a seaman. He spent most of his time on ship floating around South-East-Asia. I remeber there was one time he brought us (my siblings) to experience how was his working ship looks like. Althought that only a one day trip where we went out to South-China-Sea in the morning and came back in the afternoon, but I remember the outing until now. It was a tough task to be a seaman, I must say. How I wish I can afford to buy
marine binoculars for my father so that he can use it on a ship in the sea.

I just submitted my 100th paid post from PPP. I can't believe that I actually can go so far in writing paid-post. I must thank God that He give me this opportunity to earn extra money at home. If I am still a working mother in KL, I do not think that I can have so much time to blog and write paid-post.
Normally I only can write USD5's post. The highest pay I got was USD20, I think only 1 or 2 I got that pay so high (yeah, this is consider high pay to me). This week, I also do not have much opps to write, I think I write less than 5 paid-post. Today, before I go to sleep, I itchy hand go click PPP, the I saw on USD25 post available for me!! I took it of course. I hope the post will be approved soon, then my highest pay record can increase to USD25... Hahaha... I hope I can have a good sleep tonight!

bedroom furniture is very important for us to get a good sleep. we spend 1/3 of our time on bed. That's why I prefer to have a set of

It was so cold today. Temperature below 10'c in the morning and slowly goes up a bit to 12'C now. I think this year we will have a very cold winter. Heater in the room in not fuctioning. Compaint to the housing agent last week and no one came to fix it until today. Luckily heaters in living room is still functioning. At least we don't feel that cold while we were in the living room. Every night, Anne will want me to huge her. I think she is cold. I just hope that they will fix the heater soon. Saya anak Malaysia, saya tidak tahan sejuk punya....

I do not have a romantic husband. He is kind of a realistic person who some times act like a stone! When I see how other people's husband or boy friend treat them, I feel so envy. I have to hint and hint then only my man will act a little romantic.
Okay, talking about the most romantic experience I have, I think was during our courtship time back in University. That time, I went back to my hometown during semester break for a long 3 months stay. When I came back from my hometown, my that time boy friend (now husband) came to airport to fetch me. When we sat inside his car, he gave me 3 roses. Romantic or not? Not very romantic to you? But, this is the most romantic moment I can think of. Anyway, I still love this man because I believe he shows his care to me and our girl in different way. For example, he will make sure we eat fruits everyday. I think this act also can be a romantic act, right?
For girls, we think that romance in relationshp is important to keep our feeling of love there. I love to read
Romance Novels. I think I better think of a way to let my husband read some romance novel
here too, so that he can learn some romantic trick there!
We went to Embassy of Malaysia in Netherlands yesterday morning to have our early lunch there. The open house began at 10:30am until 12:30pm. We reached there at 10:15am, waited for muslim man to finish their pray and started the makan-makan session around 10:35am.
We had nasi brani, mee-hoon goreng, daging rendang, kari ayam, ketupat, kuih-muih... and most importantly - SATAY! Oh, i miss satay so much! This was the first time Anne ate satay. I took 3 cucuk and she ate 2 of it!
Ok, in another 2 months I can eat lots of malay food back in Malaysia.... I just wish I can go home as soon as possible to eat all kind of delicious food in Malaysia!!!

One of the Europe country that I wish to visit is Spain. As the second
most mountainous country in Europe, I just wish that I can spent my holidays in these shady, leafy and moist woods. We couldn't join our China friend's trip to Spain during Summer. Loong needed to prepare his proposal that time. When I look at all the pictures taken by the family, I told myself that one day, I must step my foot on Spain.
Anyway, our China friend did share with us some of their travel tips in Spain. Their first stop was at Barcelona. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city that has the most beautiful examples of Modernism and 20th century avant-garde art. Visiting Barcelona is affordable to us now because we can actually book our stay online at

Hoteles en Barcelona (in Spanish). The price are actually very reasonable and affordable to us. I can find a hotel which is at the centre of Barcelona so that we can enjoy the night life without the need of taking a train or calling a taxi.

They reached Madrid early morning and didn't intend to stay in a hotel because they needed to took an early flight next morning to come back to Netherland. Yes, they stay a night in airport. For me, if I travel to Spain, I will sure spent more time in a place and not in rush like them. I sure need to find a

I am searching for a phone with camera function. I know it's pretty easy because almost all of the new phone comes with this function. Why I need a mobile phone with camera function? because I always forgot to bring my digital camera with me. I always go out with mobile phone. When we first moved into this new room. All the heaters in the room were not functioning. I need heater badly! It was so cold in the room. Then, on the 2nd day, 2 heater in living room and dining area are working. I am glad. But, heaters in both bedrooms are still not functioning. It was so cold specially at night. I just hope that they will settle the problem soon. I am down with a cold now. My nose is stuck! I just hope that Anne will not get the flu bug from me... Praying hard for this!

Just would like to jot down something that I have not time to blog at my main blog. Yesterday was the day when my girl first time requested to sit on toilet bowl to pee. Before this, she only wants to pees in bath room in squatting down position. Yesterday, after watching a children show that teach children to use toilet bowl, she requested to be like them.... Well, at least now I see one of the good point of watching TV.
Besides that, today is the day when Anne can ride on her bicylcle all by herself. Well-done, girl!

When we stayed in our previous hostel, we were so unlucky. One of the pipe beside our room's wall was leaking. Our carpet was all wet due to the leaking pipe. Someone came an break open our wall to fix the pipe. Jobs like fixing a leak seem like simple tasks but the worker took one whole day to fix it. I had to clean the mess at night! How I wish I can call
newcastle upon tyne plumber to help me to solve my problem that time! I believe they are skilled tradesman that can solve my leakage pipe very fast!

We are still in our old room. No care-taker came to inspect the sticky carpet. According to the email sent by the housing agent, she said that the carpet is sticky and wet might be due to the reason that cleaner had just washed the carpet. This morning, we Loong saw the cleaner, he asked her regarding the carpet. She said she didn't wash the carpet. She only vacumn the floor after the previous tenants moved out. See, how can the carpet be so sticky if it was washed?
Loong went to the agent's office straight after breakfast. After some discussion, they agreed to assign a cleaning company to clean the carpet on next monday. We are allowed to stay in old old room until the carpet is clean and the new room is ready for us to move in.
p/s: we already moved some of our staffs up.... I think I will just leave it there!

The new room that we got has so many problems. First is the sticky carpet. Then some of the oily and sticky furnitures. And then, the heater not working. Now, another problem - the PC is infected by trojan! And, it comes with 2 Operating System. One is XP in chinese, 2nd is Windows 2000. I think the previous tenant really bring lots of trouble to us. We used one whole day to clean the room! The technician from IHE is still working on the PC now. I chose to stay in our old room tonight. We need to pass our old room's key tomorrow before 3pm, I really hope that tomorrow they will solve the carpet problem! Duh~
Last week, during one of the morning, I was shocked to see my girl's face had 5 red spot. I suspected that the red spots was bed bugs' bite. I do not know what to do, so I just changed her bed sheet. So far the no increase of red spots on her face, I just hope that everything is over now.

Just got our new room's key. Went up for an inspection. Quite disappoited with the cleanliness of the room. The kitchen is an open kitchen and may be due to the reason that the previous tenants are family from China which cook a lot, the living roon and kitchen area are pretty sticky and oily. I used whole morning to mop and clean the area. But, I do not know how to clean the carpet. The carpet at living hall is so sticky. I really do not feel to step into the area!
Anyway, we inform the care-taker and he promised to come and have a look. Hope that he will help us to solve the problem...
One more thing, the heater not functioning! DuH!

We will be moving to another "proper" family room in Thursday. This is the 2nd time since we come to Netherlands last September. So, I need to pack our things again! Duh~
Anyway, we are moving from 1 floor to 3rd floor, same building. Not that troublesome if compared with last time when we moved from one building to another building which is 10 mins walking distance.
Before we move, I have to clean the room. The care-taker will come to inspect our room on Thursday. So, I need to pack and at the same time clean this room! I am actually quite happy that we finally get the family room (more like an 2 bedrooms apartment). We have a bigger space and an extra room to serve as Anne's playroom or guest room!

When we were still in boy friend and girl friend relationship, we were poor university students. I came from Sarawak. The only way for me to go back to my home town is by plane. That time, the air ticket was pretty expensive, thus I only went back to my home town during semester break which was 1 month and 3 months break. One month was okay for a couple to stay apart. But 3 months! How we maintain our relationship? By writing
love letters. We wrote to each other at least twice a week. Together with his love letter, he would give me some little surprise like a hand made bookmark, a book for me to read or just a little short encouraging notes.
But, since I become his

I have been watching this Hong Kong series for nearly 2 months, I think. Later, I will be watching episode 54 which means I only have another 6 episode to go. The story line has become so exciting now. I can't wait to see how's the bad guy - 危永标's ending. He is so bad that he lied to his wife, betrayed his brother and cheated his parents just to get what he wants. Are there anyone who is as bad as this 危永标 in the world? I hope no.
If person who uploaded the series can upload the series on time next week, I will be watching the last episode next Thursday!! Cannot wait... cannot wait!!!! I want to know the ending soooooon!
I wish that our house in KL will be ready soon. Heard from other house buyer that we might can get the keys end of the year. I am happy to know this news. At least we might be able to see our own house by ourself since we are planning to go back end of this year. If the house is ready to hand over, this mean, we also need to fork out a HUGE amount of money for some legal fees and miscellaneous fees or expenses. Beside that, we sure need to buy a

Normally I will let Anne drinks from a straw. Her drinking bottle also a straw type bottle. Recently, she has been showing interest to drink from a cup. So, I started to let her drink from a cup instead. Just now, before she went to bed (she already wear her pyjamas), she asked for water. I had washed her drinking bottle, so I let her to drink from a cup! When a toddler drink from a cup, the possibility of water split out from the cup is high. If the clothes get wet, change lah!! What's the big deal? Do he needs to scold me just because I let Anne drink for a cup and she wet her pyjamas? Duh~~

This morning, after came back from the weekly open market, I failed to use my key to open the main entrance's door. I intercom another Malaysian who is staying in the same building with us to open the door for me. After we (Anne and I) enter our room, I was busy arranging my thing and she requested me to give her my key. I gave her! This is the BIG mistake.
I totally forgot about my key after I gave my key to Anne. Then, when Loong came back from his technical visit to Belguim, I told him about my key failed to open the main entrance. He asked me to give him the key because he wanted to try it later. Only then I suddently remember that I passed my key to Anne. I asked Anne where she put my key, she looks blur.
I search high and low, search every drawer that she can reach, all cabinet, all boxes, even inside our fridge. No, cannot find it! If I lost the key, I have to pay Euro 50 for a new set! I don't want lah!! Then, Loong asked me have I check Anne's backpack? I did, but not so detail. Normally she will throw a lot of "rubbish" into her backpack. But I couldn't recall she ever play with her backpack today! Ok, last hope, I dig everything in her backpack out. Then... ta-ta-ta-ta... The key lying peacefully in her backpack. How stupid I am! Wasted so many time and energy to search the whole room... I should start with her backpack! OK, next time I know where to look for my lost item!
Lesson learnt: Never let your children play with your key!

I am not a good writer because I do not have a good foundation in English. When I need to write an essay, I need a longer time to re-read and re-edit what I write. I never learn XML when I was an IT student in university. Yes, I am that old! I only started to heard about it after I work as a web-developer in a software house in Johor. We only can buy lady-fingers in some Asian shop and open market in Den-Haag (which need to travel 40 minutes by bus). We seldom buy lady fingers from the Asian shop, because they sell it at a very expensive price - Euro 1.20 for 10.
I love to eat lady fingers, this is how I cook it!
Ingredients:- Lady fingers 羊角豆
- ikan bilis
- garlics
- 1 chili padi
Steps:- Heat wok, add some oil. fried ikan bilis first.
- When ikan bilis turn brown, add in chopped garlics. Stir till fragrant.
- Add in lady fingers, stir, add a little soy sauce.
- Lastly add in chilli padi and stir again.
- Take up, ready to serve!

Loong loves to go PC fair. He will sure "report" himself whenever there is a PC fair in KL. That's why when his nephew need a PC, he looked for Loong for recommendation. When you try to search for a PC at PC fair, you will have too much of choices. You can find a lot of

I was a poor student, I cannot afford a printer. It's very troublesome when I need to print out my assignments. What I did is I bought an ink and when I need to print something, I would borrow my housemate's printer. I survived until I met my that time boy friend (now husband). He got a printer! :-) We used that bubble jet printer until both of us graduate from university.

When we were watching
this Hong Kong series yesterday night, I couldn't stand to see how the BAD guy cheat other people and how stupid those who were cheated by him. I started to mumble, complaint and scold that bad guy! Then Loong said: "Why you so angry woh? movie only mah!" This is the reason why I do not like to watch movie with him. We know each other for almost 10 years, I think the total time we went to cinema for a movie is less than 5 times.
He is like a stone when watching movie. Sit still and watch, from beginning till the end. He said I am very noisy! Ceh... If watch movie like him, fun meh? Enjoy meh? I rather go alone! :-P

I come from a family of 7 people: father, mother, 2 elder sister, 1 younger sister, a younger brother and me. Among the 7 peoples, my mother is the only person that do not have a mobile phones. When all of us at home, imcluding my husband and my brother in law, we have almost 10 mobile phones in a house! Even my mother in law who is nearly 70 years old also own a mobile phone! Can't believe that we actually have heen in Netherlands for 1 year. Last year, we reached Nethelands on 19th September 2006, early morning. We tried our best to get used to the new environment and cold weather. We survived! We survived in God's grace! I thank God for His love and guardian that we finally find our "Asian" way to live in a "western" country. I miss Malaysia, but I still enjoy my life and experience in Netherlands :-)

Ingredients:
- spare ribs - chopped into small pieces
- corn flour to marinate spare ribs
- 2 tbsp of tomato sauce
- garlic

- Marinate spare ribs with corn flour and a little bit of soy sauce (30 minutes).

Today, we went to Gemetee Delf (Delft's government department) to extend my temporary resident permit. Due to some reason, we were not allowed to extend our permit here. We are then refer to IND (department in charge of issueing resident permit). We asked IHE's staff to help us to make a call to IND for appointment because we cannot speak dutch. She called and her call was kicked from one department to another department for at least 3 times. Lastly, she was connect to the correct department, BUT, the officer said they were busy, cannot help! What kind of service is this? They make me think of Malaysian's government service... Is it true that all government servants are same, no matter in which country!

I knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do. I had to hurry and

most mountainous country in Europe, I just wish that I can spent my holidays in these shady, leafy and moist woods. We couldn't join our China friend's trip to Spain during Summer. Loong needed to prepare his proposal that time. When I look at all the pictures taken by the family, I told myself that one day, I must step my foot on Spain.
Anyway, our China friend did share with us some of their travel tips in Spain. Their first stop was at Barcelona. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city that has the most beautiful examples of Modernism and 20th century avant-garde art. Visiting Barcelona is affordable to us now because we can actually book our stay online at Hotels in Barcelona (in english) or at Hoteles en Barcelona (in Spanish). The price are actually very reasonable and affordable to us. I can find a hotel which is at the centre of Barcelona so that we can enjoy the night life without the need of taking a train or calling a taxi.
