This is too cold for me... I have been staying indoor for 4 days already... Yeah... I refused to go out in this kind of weather... Now, I am counting down to the day I go back to Malaysia!!! Might be snowing on Sunday somemore!! Eeeeee....

PPP: Special Number plate

My new house is going to complete soon. Heard that we can get the key in a few weeks' time. Which mean, we are able to see the house when we go back to Malaysia. Finally...

After 16 months of waiting, we finally receive a letter from IND stated that our application for temporary resident permit in Netherlands is approved! Yes, I can go home on 1st Jan! In another 21 days, I will be on my way back to Malaysia. Oh, I miss my family so much! I am sooooo happy now! I am going to spend 3 months in Malaysia... I want to eat a lot of nice food in Malaysia... I don't want to cook when I am in Malaysia... muahahaha... I am VERY HAPPY NOW!!!!

I only have a handphone. I do wish to get an ipod long ago but still no action has been taken. Why? Because I am pretty sure that if I have an ipod, my tomboy girl will sure want to play with it. Sick!

It's winter now. Weather is cold. So, Anne is sick. The mother is sick. Daddy also not feeling well now. We stay at home most of the time.... Anyway, after 2 weeks of runny nose, Anne is getting better now... But, this lazy mommy just too lazy to bring her out. We need at least 15 minutes to dress up... Put on clothes one by one... very tired leh!!! Better to stay in our warm house! Hehehe...

Cooold!

It has been raining since 10am. We are at home for the whole day. Do not wish to go out and get wet! According to the weather forecast, next week will be a raining week. Meaning, rain for one whole week! Iakkkk.... I hate raining day, espeacially rain with strong wind! It is so cold now even tho we are at home with all heater turned ON! When I can get my ID so that I can go home as soon as possible? I wish to run away from this winter ler...

She needs more friends...

At the Sinterklaas Party, I found that Anne was pretty slow in warming up with other kids. When others were playing together, she would stand a side and watch! Yes, watch only. After I join in and play with the kids, she then only join in. And then slowly she can play with them without me, with condition I am near by. She loves to play with kids, but she is pretty slow in mixing with them. When others already feeling tired, she just started getting high! We need to send her to school so that she can have more friends to play with. She looks pity when she is alone.

PPP: It's shopping time!!

I can't believe that it's year end now. I love year end! Year end means festival season. Year end also mean winter sales will start soon! I need to buy all presents for my friends and family now! I am glad that Coupon Chief is a place I can find a lot of discount coupons. I need it to save more money! :-D

Loong is searching for a new laptop. I think I can get this Dell Coupons for him. As for Anne, she loves Dora the Explorer now. I shall get her related books or toys from Nickelodeon Store using their discount coupons. What should I buy for myself? Let me think first!

Scrapbooking

I fall in love with scrapbooking. I spent a lot of my free time doing scrapbooking and searching for nice paper online. As you can see, I start to slow down in writing blog entry. Not enough time for me to do others thing if I spent most of my free time playing with Photoshop! I just got a new copy of Photoshop CS version 10! I am like addicted to Photoshop now... I love to see all my scrapping in my computer... Hehehe....

I like to travel. I wish to visit most of the European Country during my 3 years stay in Netherlands. Since I came here, I have communication problem! People here prefer to speak Dutch! Sinterklaas Party

We just got back from Sinterklaas Party. Sinterklaas is Dutch People's own Saint. It was a fun event where children can sing and dance together with Sinterklaas and his helper - Black Pieters. Anne got a present from Sinterklaas. It's a Baby Set. She likes it! All children have a present, even adults also get a small present which is an alphabet chocolate. Nice huh! :-D

PPP: Holiday to New Zealand

I love to travel. I mentioned many time that if I go for a holiday, I prefer a place which is natural, peaceful and out of the city life. I wish to go to a place where I can let my children run wildly in an open space, not squeezing in a bus or a train. One of my wish is to go for a New Zealand Holidays. New Zealand is famous for her nature environment. How I wish I can go there to enjoy the clean air and relax myself for a city life. PPP: Fountains

We are now staying in an apartment. We do not have a garden. Anne loves to run in the garden downstairs, she loves fountains too. She will look at the water splashing out from a fountain happily. I bet she will jump into the water if I did not stop her from doing so. May be I can consider to intall Wall Fountains for my future new home. I do not think my tomboy girl can jump into a wall foundtain, right?

My own cookbook?

I am not a good cook. I was forced to cook after we came to Netherlands. After one year of "training", I start to enjoy cooking. I will look for new recipes online and try it at home. I even will learn new recipes from TV shows!

I prefer to cook Chinese food, not western food. Anyway, in a western country, it's not easy for me to get all the ingredients I need. I always have to change the recipe a bit to suit with the ingredients that I have or I can get here. I must say that cooking is a adventurous work! You have to be brave enough to change the ingredients! I failed a few times, but there were times that the food I cooked turn out to be very nice and special! I wish I can jot down all the food that I had cook for the past one year until the day I go back to work! I hope the book will be thick enough for me to show my children!!

After trying a lot of Taiwan and China recipes, I started to get interested in baking! I am looking for a good Cake Recipes books. I wish I can bake a cake for my husband on his coming birthday! But first... I need to get an oven!! :-D

Weather in Netherlands is getting so cold now. Yesterday, it hitted -2'C in the morning. I remember last year I only started to wear my winter coat arround december. This year, I wear my winter coat as early as end of october! I just wish that I can get my ID ASAP and "fly" back to Malaysia NOW!!!

Big bully or kena bullied!

Today, at the dutch class. The boy who is only 1.5 year old came and try to take away toys that Anne was playing that time. Well, my girl just give up the toy, run toward me and cried! So pitty like that! I must teach my girl to protect herself now. Last week, the boy even tried to cekik my girl!!! So fierce!!!

PPP: Romance Novels

Do you like Romance Novels? When I was young, I used to be a reader for romance novels. I could finish one novel in a night! All romance novels have romantic scence. They boy friend or husband was so romantic and good to the girl friend or wife! How I wish to have a romantic husband too. Well, my husband is not a romantic person but my brother in law is a romantic one. I feel happy for my sister as her husband remember every special event which is meaningful for them. He will buy gift for my sister during the special event. Althought the gift is not expensive, but it brings some meaning to them. As for my husband, he would ask me what I want as gift before the date. If I didn't tell him anything, he will buy nothing!!! Ok, enough of complaint about my husband... I am still a happily married woman!! My husband is romantic in his way. He would make sure I eat fruits every day. He is the one who will cut fruits into pieces and remind me to finish it. He is also taking good care of me and our girl. He spends most of his free time at home with us, not going out spending time with his own hobby. I am glad I married him! :-)

Another problem!!

We noticed some annoying sounds from the roof since the recent strong wind in Netherlands. We suspected maybe due to some roof tiles were swept away by the strong wind. We can clearly hear the rains drop on the suspected area too. Loong informed the incharged person before he went to Geneva. Today, until now still no one come and do any inspection. Well, I just wish that they will fix the problem soon. It's ready noisy when the wind blow!!!

View from our living room

This is the view from our living room. I like this room because of the view. More things to see and not facing another building or a bicycle shed! Anne can see buses, train and tram from the windows too. As you can see, all trees are turning color... It's autumn, but I feel like it's winter now. Rain will pour any time!

I always wish to find some big and comfortable pillows to put in my living room. I wish we have a comfortable place to rest after one day of working life. I want to go Geneva!

Loong will go to Geneva (Switzerland) coming Sunday. I cannot go, because I not yet receive my ID. He will be away for 4 days which mean I need to look after Anne alone for 4 days. Loong suppose to go with one of his co-worker for a workshop there. But something happen, he co-worker is now at Malaysia. He need to explore Geneva alone too... God, please grant me patience when I am alone with Anne...

Cloth Diaper.

I read from many blogger mummies that they start using cloth diaper. I want to try too. I started to search more information about Cloth Diaper. I think I would buy a trial package from Mia Bambina. Anne is diaperless during day time. We only let her wear diaper when we go out and night time. Some time, even go out for half an hour, I will let her wear her diaper. I need to throw the used diaper even it's actually only used for half an hour. Feel wasted. That's why I am thinking to try cloth diaper! I will use the money I earned from PPP to buy this!

Not going back?

Tell you what? I might not be going back to Malaysia this year end. Yes, I am very disappointed. The worst case will be I need to stay in Netherlands with Anne without Loong because he needs to go back to collect data. I just cannot understand how come they are so slooooooow in processing our appeal of resident permit! According to the procedure, only 6 weeks is needed. Now, almost 3 months still no result.

Seems like I need to spent my winter stuck in Netherlands!

Finally we have another chinese Malaysian join us in Delft. He is also IHE's student, Loong's junior! :-) We will definately try our best to help him sattle down in Delft. Yesterday, we went to Xotus the Asian Shop together and we invited him over for dinner too. I am not a good cook, I hope he did enjoy our simple dinner :-) Anne mix with him well... Hehe... She seldom so sporting one! May be she knows he is Malaysian too.

PPP: Jingle bell, jingle bell...

It's autumn now, which mean it's year end now... I love year end because of all the festival that falls on year end. First it's Halloween, after that it's Thanksgiving, and before you know it, it's jingle time! Christmas is one of my favourite festival. For Christian, Christmas is to celebrate birthday of Jesus Christ. But, like the story about Santa Claus distribute presents to all children around the world. I wish I can be like Santa Claus, giving presents to my "lovers". I am glad this year I know how to shop online wisely using online coupons.

Learning Dutch!!

We started our Dutch lesson last Tuesday. Not a good start, because we were late that day. Loong thought the class started at 10:30am, but actually started at 10:00am. We only found out at 9:55am. So, we were late for 15 mins and the class had began. Feel so shy to enter the class!Tomorrow, only I will attend the class. Loong has to be a tutor for a hydrology class in IHE. Anne will go with me, I hope this time she can have a nice time playing with other kids.

My husband is a movie fanatic. He loves to watch action movies. He always ask me to join him when he is watching a movie. I don't like action movie which I think the story line is to fast and I do not like fighting scence. I am very surprise to see my blog's PR can goes up from 1 to 3. This is a big surprise to me. Anyway, everyday I still have same amount of time to blog. We earned one hour!

Heehee... We earned one hour today. Why? Because Europe turn to Winter time which turn our clock backward 1 hour. Normally Anne wakes up at 8am. Today, she actually woke up at 8am, but the time turn backward 1 hour, so the time was 7am only. So early! Just now, she dozed off at 8:30pm, which is 30 mins before her normal nap time. I just cannot understand why Europe need to adjust the time like this. Time will adjust back to summer mode in March when we need to turn our clock fast-forward 1 hour. Then we will loose one hour!

Craving for Roti Canai!

Loong is craving for roti canai. He is on his way to one of the Asia shop, looking for a frozen rati canai. I do not know why he suddently so craving for one. He requested me to cook Dhall curry for him too. I am not sure we can get all the ingredients or not. He will go to an Indonesian shop to look for all spices that we need to cook the curry. He is really craving for Roti Canai... Hehehe... Ok, I also hope he manage to get all ingredients so that we can eat Roti Canai as breakfast tomorrow morning! Wish us good luck!

Finally the heater is function now~

As the title tell, finally someone came to fix our rooms' heater after we had been cooling every night for almost 2 weeks. They sent someone here after our second complaint! That person used less than 5 minutes to fix the heater. What he did? He open one screw at one side of the heater, release some gas, and that's it! So easy! Why not come earlier?

Well, at least during the last few night Anne is willing to cover herself with blanket! :-) Before this, it's difficult to ask her to use a blanket!

I hate it!

I hate it , when people come and press my door bell during Anne's nap time. It's OK if she already in deep sleep. Any loud noise will not wake her up. But, if someone came and press the door bell when Anne just about to doze off... Ahhhh.... I will want to bite that person!

This happen today. Anne doze off at 1:30pm. That person press my door bell at 1:35pm. Then I quickly ran to open the door for him. He talked to me like I am deaf, so loud. When I saw Anne sit up on her bed, I know, chammm lorrrr... True enough, she refused to sleep back after that person left. So, today, she only took 5 mins afternoon nap! Break record liaooo... Anyone took such a short nap???

PPP: Great Theme Park

Do you like to go Theme Parks? I know one blogger who loves to bring his son to our Malaysia's Genting Theme Park. Well, I also wish to bring Anne to have fun in any theme park near by. We actually brought her to Paris Disneyland when she was only 1 year old. That time she cannot enjoy most of the ride, too young! I am now looking forward to bring Anne to another thema park, I am sure she will enjoy herself this time. Blackpool (UK) has the UK's oldest theme park which is also one of the UK's biggest tourist attractions. May be I can plan for a trip there this time.

Anne pull my microphone and caused my microphone is not functioning now. It is so "weird" to chat with my family where I type and they talk! Loong is searching for a VOIP phone now. I feel I am so out-dated because only today I know that there is one type of phone which you can use with skype, yahoo and MSN. Just like normal phone... Ok, I am going to invest one using my paypal money! :-D

Today, Loong is at Amsterdam to attend a seminar. He went out very early in the morning and only will be back at night. Most probably after Anne goes to bed. So, get something for her to do, I brought her out to an open space to chase pegeons. Then we went to a shop to buy toy for her. You know what she choose? A CAR! Yeap, a car. Just like a boy. She is playing with the car now... so happy, keep on saying wanna show daddy her new car. Boy oh boy!

When I was young, my father worked as a seaman. He spent most of his time on ship floating around South-East-Asia. I remeber there was one time he brought us (my siblings) to experience how was his working ship looks like. Althought that only a one day trip where we went out to South-China-Sea in the morning and came back in the afternoon, but I remember the outing until now. It was a tough task to be a seaman, I must say. How I wish I can afford to buy marine binoculars for my father so that he can use it on a ship in the sea.

At least now I can rest assure that if anything happen to me, my love one, especially my daughter still have money to live on.

I am very fed up with the procedure to apply temporary resident permit in Netherlands. I am here for 13 months now and I have yet to receive my resident permit! Can you believe it? More than a year! I cannot leave Holland until I get my resident permit, which mean, I also cannot go back to Malaysia this december if my resident permit is not approve yet! Loong is going to Genava next months, I cannot go also... SO sian... very sian!!!!

100th paid-post.

I just submitted my 100th paid post from PPP. I can't believe that I actually can go so far in writing paid-post. I must thank God that He give me this opportunity to earn extra money at home. If I am still a working mother in KL, I do not think that I can have so much time to blog and write paid-post.

Normally I only can write USD5's post. The highest pay I got was USD20, I think only 1 or 2 I got that pay so high (yeah, this is consider high pay to me). This week, I also do not have much opps to write, I think I write less than 5 paid-post. Today, before I go to sleep, I itchy hand go click PPP, the I saw on USD25 post available for me!! I took it of course. I hope the post will be approved soon, then my highest pay record can increase to USD25... Hahaha... I hope I can have a good sleep tonight!

When I read through all the additional resources given by to write this post, I am very glad that I got this opportunity. I really learn a lot from the reading. My husband study about environmental, I know that it's very important for us to get committed to minimizing the environmental impact of any actions. I saw a lot of mother has started to go "green" by using cloth diaper. This is a very good start, I wish to do it for my 2nd baby!

I have been receiving a lot of spam mail in my email that register for blogging use. I do not know why. A lot of it stated that I got a huge amount of money from an email lucky draw. Some even said someone pass away and left some money for me. A few million leh... If like that, I do not need to write so hard for all the sposored post... I can go back to Malaysia every month (weekly too tired liao)... Yeah... I am day dreaming!!!

PPP: Bedroom Furnitures

Good bedroom furniture is very important for us to get a good sleep. we spend 1/3 of our time on bed. That's why I prefer to have a set of traditional furniture that can guarantie a good quality. For child bedroom furniture, I will prefer a solid wood series which is easy to maintain and look cleaner! I wish to get a set of kid bedroom furniture that look so girly for my girl. It was so cold today. Temperature below 10'c in the morning and slowly goes up a bit to 12'C now. I think this year we will have a very cold winter. Heater in the room in not fuctioning. Compaint to the housing agent last week and no one came to fix it until today. Luckily heaters in living room is still functioning. At least we don't feel that cold while we were in the living room. Every night, Anne will want me to huge her. I think she is cold. I just hope that they will fix the heater soon. Saya anak Malaysia, saya tidak tahan sejuk punya....

PPP: Romance Novels

I do not have a romantic husband. He is kind of a realistic person who some times act like a stone! When I see how other people's husband or boy friend treat them, I feel so envy. I have to hint and hint then only my man will act a little romantic.

Okay, talking about the most romantic experience I have, I think was during our courtship time back in University. That time, I went back to my hometown during semester break for a long 3 months stay. When I came back from my hometown, my that time boy friend (now husband) came to airport to fetch me. When we sat inside his car, he gave me 3 roses. Romantic or not? Not very romantic to you? But, this is the most romantic moment I can think of. Anyway, I still love this man because I believe he shows his care to me and our girl in different way. For example, he will make sure we eat fruits everyday. I think this act also can be a romantic act, right?

For girls, we think that romance in relationshp is important to keep our feeling of love there. I love to read Romance Novels. I think I better think of a way to let my husband read some romance novel here too, so that he can learn some romantic trick there!

I miss Malay food...

We went to Embassy of Malaysia in Netherlands yesterday morning to have our early lunch there. The open house began at 10:30am until 12:30pm. We reached there at 10:15am, waited for muslim man to finish their pray and started the makan-makan session around 10:35am.

We had nasi brani, mee-hoon goreng, daging rendang, kari ayam, ketupat, kuih-muih... and most importantly - SATAY! Oh, i miss satay so much! This was the first time Anne ate satay. I took 3 cucuk and she ate 2 of it!

Ok, in another 2 months I can eat lots of malay food back in Malaysia.... I just wish I can go home as soon as possible to eat all kind of delicious food in Malaysia!!!

Holiday in Spain

One of the Europe country that I wish to visit is Spain. As the second most mountainous country in Europe, I just wish that I can spent my holidays in these shady, leafy and moist woods. We couldn't join our China friend's trip to Spain during Summer. Loong needed to prepare his proposal that time. When I look at all the pictures taken by the family, I told myself that one day, I must step my foot on Spain.

Anyway, our China friend did share with us some of their travel tips in Spain. Their first stop was at Barcelona. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is a cosmopolitan Mediterranean city that has the most beautiful examples of Modernism and 20th century avant-garde art. Visiting Barcelona is affordable to us now because we can actually book our stay online at Hotels in Barcelona (in english) or at Hoteles en Barcelona (in Spanish). The price are actually very reasonable and affordable to us. I can find a hotel which is at the centre of Barcelona so that we can enjoy the night life without the need of taking a train or calling a taxi.

After Barcelona, they continue their trip in Spain to Madrid by train. They reached Madrid early morning and didn't intend to stay in a hotel because they needed to took an early flight next morning to come back to Netherland. Yes, they stay a night in airport. For me, if I travel to Spain, I will sure spent more time in a place and not in rush like them. I sure need to find a Hotels in Madrid to relax myself and to let my little girl has a rest before continue our journey. I just do not like the idea of sleeping in an airport!

Not much Opps to write

Not much opportunities to write. Anyway, I am also very busy unpacking all my stuffs. Anne keeps on kacau-ing me and she become very glued to me. I do not know why. She refused her daddy totally. Always, mummy... mummy... mummy... I just need a break. I am with her 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Loong is busy with his research... How I wish I can have a very short break... Anyone can help me to babysit my girl for 2 hours? Just 2 hours... :-P

I am searching for a phone with camera function. I know it's pretty easy because almost all of the new phone comes with this function. Why I need a mobile phone with camera function? because I always forgot to bring my digital camera with me. I always go out with mobile phone. If my mobile phone has camera function, then I can just bring my mobile phone with me and able to snap pictures with my mobile phone.

I am SICK!

When we first moved into this new room. All the heaters in the room were not functioning. I need heater badly! It was so cold in the room. Then, on the 2nd day, 2 heater in living room and dining area are working. I am glad. But, heaters in both bedrooms are still not functioning. It was so cold specially at night. I just hope that they will settle the problem soon. I am down with a cold now. My nose is stuck! I just hope that Anne will not get the flu bug from me... Praying hard for this!
